United States History to 1877
This is the first part of a two-year program in United States History. This program provides opportunities for students to develop an understanding of historical skills, concepts, and content related to the history of America. The class begins with a review of the colonial period and concludes in 1877, the year Reconstruction ends. This course also provides valuable background information to prepare students for American Government in Grade 10.
